Lush recently launched a new recycling initiative after realizing their packaging wasn’t recycled in communal recycling schemes. You can now return ALL plastic packaging to Lush stores to be recycled or reused. It’s going to be rolled-out worldwide, right now it’s already in the UK and Ireland, the Netherlands and Germany.

Look, we’ve just had a major coral bleaching event, and your sunscreen has nothing to do with it: “while chemicals in sunscreen pose a risk to corals under laboratory conditions, they are only found at very low levels in real world environments”. (The Conversation)

I tested a new luxury make-up and fragrance line: Fashion designer Dries van Noten launcheds lipstick and perfumes. Because I’m a fan, I bought and reviewed some items (lipstick here, fragrance – all of them! – here). Speaking of makeup – what in all that is holy happened to MAC’s eyeshadows?!
