Lethal Cosmetics: Blossom Blush

September best beauty finds

When I got the Lethal Cosmetics Powder Blush in Blossom, I was whelmed. I loved the idea of a glowy blush, but Blossom truly toes the line between a blush and a highlighter, because even on my pale self, it’s light. So light that I have to pack it on, and then it’s veeeeeery glowy. (If you’re darker skinned than I am, you could maybe get away with using it as a demure pink highlighter.)

I threw it into my drawer, and then summer came. (Which proves that sometimes you have to give a product the opportunity to shine in different conditions than the ones in which you’ve tried it before!)

Lethal Cosmetics Blossom Blush

I basically only wanted to wear bronzer, which will always be my choice when it’s hot, I’m melting and my makeup is therefore minimal. BUT! In a flash of inspiration, I applied Blossom over my bronzer, and the angels sang. It was the perfect blushy-bronzey-glowy mix, and man, I’ve basically worn that combo for three months straight.

On Running Cloudmonster review

I’ve got plantar fasciitis AND arthritis in my feet, but I still love to walk. I also walk a lot, because I don’t own a car and walking is often the best option to go from A to B for me. Anyways, I need a super cushiony shoe, because otherwise, I can’t walk without pain. On Running is a Swiss company, and their ‘Cloud Tech’ makes their shoes unique:

‘Swiss engineered to deliver comfort, support and a more efficient run, CloudTec® is a completely unique cushioning system. It absorbs impact, reduces strain and adapts to your running style to create a sensation loved by runners around the world. We call it running on clouds.’

On Running

True. I own two pairs of the Cloudmonster, which is clunky and big, but super lightweight, and offers the biggest cushioning they offer.

‘Running never felt like this. Our biggest Cloud elements ever meet an ultra powerful Speedboard®. The result? Extremely soft landings and maximum rebound, for energy return you won’t believe. This is running on Clouds with the volume turned up.’

On Running

Obviously, their shoes are made for running, and sure, you can do that, but I have seen their shoes crop up on tourists everywhere – even a lady in the boarding line in a Spanish airport struck up a convo about them with me!

The best thing is: this is the shoe I can wear when I walk 5k+ and not die because I’m in so much pain. Also, they look very cool. (But: expensive. Ouch.)

Housekeeping note:

I’ll be traveling in October, during which time there’ll be one post per week (on Tuesdays). Regular schedule will commence in the third or last week of October.
