Hello everyone! How are you today? I have a special post for you today, influenced by my addiction to Survivor, a tv-show that has been aired for two years now and I am hooked. First of all, the amazing locations, first year was the Philippines and this year is the Caribbean. I live in a beautiful island too but these two locations are something else. The green crystal water of the sea, the beautiful beaches, the coconut trees, everything is so dreamy! And one day, I was thinking about what products I would take with me to a desert island, what are the most necessary skincare products I can’t live without?
Face cleansers
These days, I have been using and loving two products. The first is the Beauty Formulas Charcoal facial scrub and the second, is the Biore Charcoal cleanser that I use every day. Both are great for deep cleansing and ideal for combination to oily skin like mine.
Moisturiser
Again, I have two moisturising creams that I enjoy using and yes, both of them would be picked if I was on a deserted island. The AG Pharm Caviar All Day Cream comes from a greek brand and it is a thick and luxurious cream that fully moisturises my skin. Plus, it smells amazing! Also, I have been loving the Decleor Hydra Floral Moisturiser that I received in a beauty box and it hydrates my skin, leaving it plump and soft.
Face Masks
Face masks are my fave skincare product. They are a great addition to our skincare routine and there is a mask for every type of skin, either it’s oily, dry, combination, normal. Also masks help treat every problematic area, either it’s tired and dull skin, acne, ageing, breakouts, clogged pores etc. These days, I have been obsessing over the L’Oreal Pure Clay masks and I have three (I show two in this picture).
The L’Oreal Pure Clay Detox Mask is perfect for deep cleansing pores and acts like a magnet to draw out impurities, oil and dirt that cloggs our pores. My fave of the three is the L’Oreal Pure Clay Bright Mask (the yellow one) that features a powerful blend of three different clays and also Yuzu lemon. After I use it, my skin feels fresh and super clean, love it!
Sunscreen
The most important step in our skincare routine in my opinion is this one. I apply an SPF every day even in winter, the sun rays can reach us even when we are at home and damage our skin. Body Mist
These two body mists are two of my faves, Victoria’s Secret mists have the most special and unique scents. Love Spell is my newest addition. Sheer Love is a light floral scent, perfect for spring and summer.
A little extra…
Aloe Vera – or nature’s miracle, as I call it. I have a plant in my garden that I use all the time. But this one can also do the job and it’s perfect for travelling. Aloe Vera has so many benefits, it hydrates skin, treats acne and sunburns, cuts and injuries and it’s all natural. Do yourself a favour and get this, it’s amazing!
So these are the skincare products I can’t live without and would take to a deserted island. All necessary and important!
