Michelle Wong (Labmuffin) and Jen Novakovich (theecowell) founded a new science-based beauty community! That’s very exciting, and the best thing I’ve heard in ages. Beauty SciComm (is) (…) ‘Increasing the quality, volume and reach of accurate beauty science content.’ Go and follow them!

Allure crowned their Best of Beauty and it’s everywhere. If you’re living under a rock, here are all the products. (It’s very US-brand heavy – obviously – and nothing has piqued my interest, while I disagree with a lot of their recs. So there’s that.)

Will Kylie Jenner buy back her beauty company from Coty? Nobody knows. (Fortune)

Beautylish now sells Black Girl Sunscreen: great for us folks in the EU who now can order it easily!

Lisa Eldridge Beauty opened another counter in a luxe London department store: after Selfridges, it can be found in Liberty’s.

Ugh, I saw Tina Tanaka Harris shop in Tokyo’s biggest beauty store and got a case of fernweh. (YouTube)

Do you want to dress like Mabel in ‘Only Murders in the Building’? I definitely do, and here’s how the costume designer approached it.

On the Blog

best beauty blog posts in September

What an exciting month, and the most exciting post was definitely my comparison of Lisa Eldridge’s and Victoria Beckham’s eye pencils. Also, if you’ve been ever wondering which off the super-expensive Allies of Skin products delivers the best bang for your buck, I’m here to help!

Another review of a hyped product: Ultra Violette’s Fave Fluid SPF50 (with its high UVA). A great find was surprisingly Beyer’s Hautgel, which saved my skin, while Good Molecule’s cleansing balm was the first product in a long time that went into my trashcan.
