Sustainability

sustainability in beauty news

Vogue asks how to be a more sustainable beauty consumer in 2022, and the answer is, unsurprisingly, to consume less. The fact that they bolster the article with product recs TO BUY LESS is typical of the beauty community contorting itself to find new ways to sell stuff.

“How to care less about work” is an excerpt from Anne Helen Petersen’s new book “Out of Office: The Big Problem and Bigger Promise of Working from Home” and deals not only with work and productivity, but also with selfcare, the pandemic, and generally how we want to live. On the Blog

best beauty blogposts in December

I’ve been sick for nearly the whole December (the BBC asks if this cold is the worst one ever, and yes, it totally is), so our Instagram and Blog schedule has been a tiny bit off. Still, there’re some reviews: of Fenty’s Eaze Drop tinted moisturizer, and the new Zara and Jo Malone fragrance collab. Astrid reviewed Indonesian brand Wardah’s UV Shield’s sunscreen, and I was very intrigued, because it sounds right up my alley. I wrote about the results you can expect from skincare, and my favourite products from cheap skincare brands.

Happy New Year and until 2022!
