Refinery29 asks if the secret to a more sustainable approach in beauty is customisable skincare. While I somehow get the approach, I’m really peeved by the ‘shocked’ industry insiders complaining about ‘shelfie culture’: ladies, you’re part of the problem, and what’s worse, it keeps you employed.

While I was somewhat handicapped by a little injury this month, Astrid jumped in to help me out and shared both her impressions with Bobbi Brown’s masterclass, plus her search for a dupe of Sulwhasoo’s First Care Serum. I then sang the praises of Natasha Denona’s Glam Palette (includes a little hack to customise your palette!), and was less congratulatory about Paula’s Choice’s Defense range and Deciem’s hand creams. If you’re looking for luxurious smelling bath and shower products that don’t break the bank (‘tis the season, after all), here they are!
