The slightly weird edition: Drunk Elephant rumours, an orgasm candle, vegan beauty products that are anything but, and how Downton Abbey conned you and me (paraphrased). The beauty news and posts in July are definitely something else!

On the Blog

beauty news you need

Ooooh, it’s a good one, let me tell you! First, have you heard of ‘maskne’? If you’re developing spots and inflammation under your protective face coverings, this post is for you. Astrid shared the contents of this year’s (online retailers) Amazingy’s Charity Box – so many amazing (pun intended) sustainable products to discover! She also took one for the team and put together a very extensive post of sunscreens for dark skintones THAT DON’T LEAVE A WHITE CAST. Yessssssssssss.

Also, the 101 on face cleansers (give that one some love, it’s a chonker and took me ages to write). Reviews: Fenty’s new cream blushes (dreamy!) and Paula’s Choice Calm Soothing Toner (less dreamy, more stinky). Also, why I honestly can’t endorse cushion foundations any more. And then there’re products I sloooooooowly came to love, although my initial reaction (and reviews here) was less than favourable.
