Karl Lagerfeld died. My fave story about him (and I fully acknowledge that he had some hugely problematic opinions, but nevertheless did a lot for fashion how it is today) is that he always used Shu Uemura eye makeup products to draw his sketches of dresses and whatnot. In South Korea, kids at Kindergarden age are now targeted as beauty consumers. Eh. I don’t have kids, but wouldn’t it be great not to push kids into super gendered roles from a young age?! (Washington Post)
