Gwyneth, Ivanka, and the End of the Effortless White Woman: A lot of discussion ensued when I posted this on Twindly’s fb site: I still stand by my opinion that this is not about lazy people wanting their cake and have it, but women like you and me who work pretty much all the time, but without any hope to get to the top, because women like Gwyneth and Ivanka had so much of a head start (privilege, money) that it’s impossible to catch up.
