When the Huggable Lipcolours appeared again in the MAC OS Germany last week (they’re still there), I couldn’t resist and got another three I was interested in – I’m In, I’m Game and Fashion Force. I’m sharing my swatches and some comparisons with you today – for the in-length review, please visit the first blogpost about the 2015 release of the Huggables where I talk about texture and formula.

I’m In – warm rose

This is a first for me – a Huggable with shimmer! I’m In is a rose tinged warm nude with very fine golden shimmer. In fact, its shimmer is so fine that I looked at the unused lipstick and wondered if there is any shimmer at all. But there is. And it makes the shiny and luminous texture of the Huggables even more shiny and luminous.

I’ve got quite pigmented lips, and I’m In tints them just slightly. But oh, this might be my perfect rosy not-nude nude, because this neither washes me out nor gives me concealer lips. It’s a great nude, and I recommend it wholeheartedly. Because it just gives my lips a hint of colour, it wears off without any stains, but it felt incredibly moisturizing on my lips. Really strange feeling – my lips looked like I didn’t have anything on them, but when I pressed them together I could still feel that lipstick-y texture, and they felt and looked great – like healthy, smooth lips. The shimmer doesn’t stay on the lips when the rest of the texture wears off, btw – thank God!

Fashion Force – soft tangerine orange

Fashion Force has an orange colour that leans slightly coral on me and is neither overly warm nor cool. It’s a very easy to wear orange that doesn’t jump in your face and screams ‘orange’ on top of its lungs. I love it for that and guess that’s a colour that will get a lot wear time this summer. Fresh & Frisky from last year’s line-up is more muted and browner.

I need maybe two passes on my lips to get its true colour on my lips, and then it stays for about four hours if I don’t have a meal in the meantime. It leaves a slight stain that looks very natural.

I’m Game – creamy raspberry

Sometimes I really wonder what the people at MAC are smoking, because I’m Game is not what I imagine a creamy raspberry is. It’s a mid-tone pink that gets its ‘creamy’ factor from some white pigment that is mixed into the colour (hence the name, I guess). Just add a bit of depth and that is what raspberry ice cream might look like.

It’s nicely opaque with the luminous shine all Huggable have. It wears excellently and leaves a rose-tinged stain behind. For me it wears for about four hours if I don’t eat anything.

So, this was the biggest lipstick haul for me – ever. Do I regret it? Not at all. Will I get tons of use out off my loot? Definitely. Do I wish MAC would make these permanent? YES!

If you want to see the first post of my Huggable Haul, have a look over here where I talk about Dramatical, Flaming Lips and Play it Soft, and about the Huggable formula in general.
