Beauty news and best reads in September

Linklove: best beauty reads and news

In which I get up on that soapbox (rant incoming) about double standards bloggers apparently have when it comes to cruelty free products. There’s also a weird incubator program by one of the biggest cosmetics companies with lackluster results, beauty communities, beauty shopping in London, phone sex and alllll the beauty news you need!READ MORE

how to repurpose skincare products

What to do with skincare products you no longer like

There’s nothing worse than realizing that a skincare product you bought is no longer working. Or maybe you’re just no longer into it, have found something better or it was kind of a fail from the beginning. What to do? Barring the possibility of returning it, I found some ways to repurpose unloved, yet pricey products you can’t stomach to just bin.READ MORE

skincare capsule collection

My skincare capsule collection: a routine for sensitive combo skin

I’m well-known for a certain disdain towards the concept of capsule collections and minimalism. Nars Narsissist Eyeshadow Palette Loaded

An Honest Review of NARS Narsissist Loaded Eyeshadow Palette (vs Urban Decay Naked Palette)

I’m one of those people who are quite gullible when it comes to raving reviews of products. Especially when it’s a blogger I’d consider as my beauty twins like Karen of the Makeup and Beauty Blog. In the case of the NARS Narsissist Loaded Eyeshadow Palette, won’t be too hard given how much I actually like the brand. I’m rarely disappointed by NARS products, and I hope they will return to Germany again (with Sephora? please?)
