Twindlytuesday: May’s ten best articles and blogposts!

There were some excellent articles and blogposts to be read this past month that I want to share with you all and share some linklove! This time, it’s choc-full of beauty: knowledgeable posts from bloggers I admire, photography tricks that fool everyone, men wearing makeup like it’s not a big thing, and what’s and who’s behind those annoying teatox ads on Instagram – there’s something for everybody in there!READ MORE

Berlin Beauty Shopping Guide

A beauty addict and visiting Berlin? Or a Berliner but just curious on a Berlin beauty shopping guide? As a Berliner for 8 years and a beauty addict myself, I thought I’d share my go-to spots for shopping for beauty items in Berlin!

I wish I’ve done this earlier, but to my defense, Berlin is a city that changes a lot. The startup boom, the hipsters, the shops! Back then we only have two MAC stores, and now we have eight! I feel like every time I was about to write a guide, a new shop popped up or a shop changed its location. Nevertheless, here is one now, and I will do my best to update it every now and then, and feel free to ask in the comment section.

First up, for more on how to beauty shop in Germany in general, you can go to our where to shop for beauty products in Germany here. There you could find the general drugstore, department store, pharmacy, German products kind of info. We also have a beauty guide in Frankfurt here, in case you’re having a layover there before going to Berlin ;).READ MORE

L’Oreal UV Perfect Aqua Essence City Face Mist review

L’Oreal UV Perfect Aqua Essence City Face Mist review

The latest news on various sunscreen mists available and an in-depth review of L’Oreal UV Perfect Aqua Essence City Face Mist, with a comparison to Bioderma’s sunscreen mist (in-depth review here). Sunscreen face mists have become the unicorns of the beauty world. Don’t you think? Last year it was Bioderma that released one, but only in France, and it was hellishly complicated to get our hands on it. This year, L’Oreal brought one out, but only in Asia, and La Roche-Posey (LRP) did, but only in the UK. So it’s starting to seem a bit unicorn-like – you’ve never seen one, but there’re people who have, and in far-away countries you might find them… Ok, maybe I’m going too far with that particular comparison now! Summer makeup collections 2016: The lazy girl’s round-up

Summer collections, yay! Maybe my favourite season for makeup – the collections are usually super pretty, and I generally love the bronze goddess aesthetic and am not even mad if it’s repeated again and again. Yes, I admit it – pretty embossed powders in gorgeous packaging are my jam, and I’m not even ashamed of it. So let’s jump right in!READ MORE
